Muhteşem👌 tuğladan yapılan yapı rengi kızıl olduğu için kızıl avlu olarak isimlendirilmiş. Girdiğinizde sol tarafta kubbeli bir yapı, sağ tarafta ise halen sapasağlam ayakta duran devasa yapı bulunuyor. Avlunun bahçesinde Mısır da görmeye alışkın olunan başı aslan vücudu insan şeklinde bir heykel yer alıyor. Sanırım halen restorasyon çalışması devam ediyor. Bazalika Mısır Tanrıçaları Tapınağı olarak anılıyormuş, hatta bazı tarihçiler küçük Ayasofya olarak isimlendiriyormuş. Bu yapının halen günümüze kadar kalmış olması aslında Anadolu da farklı dinlere gösterilen saygının bir kanıtı, mutlaka gezilip görülmeli.👌👏🏻📜

Pergamon, Kuzey Ege’de Kaikos (Bakırçay) Irmağı’nın doğu-batı yönünde uzandığı graben vadisinin kıyısında yer almaktadır. Kuzeyde Pindasos (Kozak), güneyde Asperdenon (Yund) Dağları ile çevrili olan kentin doğusunda Selinos, batısında ise Ketios çayı uzanmaktadır.
