The historical library of the island of Heybeli was known to contain more than 120,000 books, magazines, and manuscripts. More than 3,000 books, magazines, and manuscripts were known to have been found. Among the facilities on the island are the chapel of Teslis, which is considered sacred, sports and entertainment institutions, dormitories, infirmary and hospital. According to historical records, 990 people graduated from the Greek Orthodox Seminary.
In 1971, the school was closed after continuing as a high school for a while as a result of the abolition of theological education after the law on the state supervision of private higher education institutions. Before its closure, it served as the main Theological School of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople of the Eastern Orthodox Church.
He trained many clergymen who served as priests, bishops, archbishops, and patriarchs in many countries. Thousands of people, mostly foreign tourists, visit this historic Greek school. It should also be noted that you must make an appointment in advance to visit the historic seminary.
