The museum collects Turkish-Islamic artifacts with artifacts from the Abbasid, Mamluk, Seljuk and Ottoman periods. A section of the museum, which also exhibits glassware, stone and baked pottery, as well as metal and ceramic objects, houses a collection of Turkish carpets.
