The Erzurum Archaeological Museum, located within the boundaries of Muratpaşa Mahalla, Yakutia Province, was opened to the public in 1968. In the construction of the museum building, cut stone was used, taking into account the climate of the region. With a total of 20,000 recorded artifacts, the museum exhibits artifacts that provide visitors with information on many topics, such as the development, production, lifestyle, art, religious beliefs and traditions of the cultures that lived in our region.
