As a result of the official recognition of Christianity by Emperor Constantine in the 4th century AD, religious pressures arose, and churches began to spread. From the century onwards, many churches were built in the name of Saint Paul. In the 20th century, as a result of the official recognition of Christianity by Emperor Constantine, religious oppression ceased and churches began to spread. Since the 5th century AD, numerous churches have been built in the name of Saint Paul. Since the 16th century, many churches have been built in the name of St. Paul. Several of these churches were also located in Tarsus, the birthplace of Saint Paul, as we learn from European travelers who came to Tarsus. Today, only one of these churches has been preserved, and the St. Paul's Memorial Museum is of great importance in this respect.
