It was formed by the dissolution of old Eocene limestone at the base of Obruk. Mucur Obruğu is one of the natural monuments that should be protected and brought to tourism due to its natural beauty and the presence of caves that were used for settlement purposes on its slopes.

It's recommended to go by car. If you want to reach the lake, you have to park your car on the side of the road and walk a little, as the Obruk formation is the result of a flat landslide. Obruk's warm weather also offers a complete visual feast with its reedbeds and endemic species. You can easily see the different rock formations that were formed as a result of the collapse.

This area, which is trying to attract tourism, is not fully developed, so there are no places to live.

There's no recreation facility or grocery store nearby. It is not advisable to go in the evening. There's no lighting because it's a natural habitat.
