This is Mostar.
After the Tekke visit, the last stop is Mostar. The historic Mostar Bridge, designed by Hayreddin, a student of the architect Sinan, was built with 99 steps, inspired by the 99 names of Allah. The bridge, which at that time was the only crossing over the Neretva River, displays the Ottoman architectural tradition with its bazaar on both sides. The Mostar Bridge was destroyed by the Croats in the war in 1993 and rebuilt in 2004 with the support of Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey. The bridge can't be rebuilt, and the number of steps drops to 94. Tara Tower, Old Bridge Museum, Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque and historical market are among the main places to see in Mostar. In addition, for those who want to see the bridge from below and touch the waters of the Neretva River, there is a road that continues on the left side a little further across the Mostar Bridge. Zdravo Voda and Bagrem, on the way back from Mostar to Sarajevo, are among the restaurants where you can eat delicious lamb rolls. If you plan to have dinner in one of these restaurants, you can satisfy your hunger by drinking Begova Soup in Mostar. There are also restaurants in Mostar that you can choose for dinner.
