It is located on a steep hill in the Camel's Neck Mountains, south of the Erzurum-Kars highway, at an altitude of 2050 m. Most of the Ottoman-Russian war of 1877-1878 took place on the territory of the battalion, II. It was built during the reign of Abdulhamid between 1884 and 1896 for the purpose of protecting the area and was named in the form of Additional Tabya due to its proximity to Uzunahmet Tabya. It is surrounded by masonry embankment walls and measures 180-72 m with surrounding earth reinforcements. The barracks and warehouses in the lower parts of the platform, which are built with smoothly cut stone materials, and the artillery rooms in the upper part are reached by stairs.
