The Ethnographic Museum of Konya
Initially built for educational purposes, the building was opened as the Museum of Ethnography in 1975. In the basement of the three-story building there is a photography room, an archive, a warehouse of artifacts, a heating room and a carpet-carpeting section, which is planned to open in 1998 and is still under construction. There's an exhibition hall on the ground floor and Dr. Mehmet Önder Conference Hall; on the first floor there are offices, administrative services, a library and artifact warehouses. In the exhibition hall, ethnographic works from Konya and its surroundings are exhibited, which were acquired, gifted and donated to the museum by other museums.
