The bath was built in the traditional architectural style and was used as a military bath for the Serbian army until the First World War. Behind it is a heating room with a hot water tank. During World War II, the bath was partially destroyed when it was bombed in 1944, and after the renovation of the building in 1965, the old bath became the planetarium of the Ruđer Bošković Astronomical Society.
