Popolo Square, a continuation of the famous shopping street Via del Corso, is one of the famous squares of the city. It's also M. Oh, my God. It is the most important part of the Via Flaminia, which has been in use since 220 AD. The gate around it is also used as the entrance gate to the city during the imperial period.
This square has a steeple in the middle and is surrounded by the twin churches of Santa Maria in Monte Santo and Santa Maria dei Miracoli.
