Single walls
The walls surrounding the small county center have suffered a great deal of destruction, surviving only with the remains of some towers and two partially preserved gates. The walls, the exact date of which is unknown, have two gates, a tower and a book on one wall. Based on these books, it is dated to 1483, the Mamluk Period. There are two gates of the Single Walls, also known as the Garden Gate and the Square Gate, that still stand today. These are the Gate of Urfa and the Gate of Mechan.
