After the victorious conclusion of the Battle of Sakarya Square, the Western Front Headquarters is moved to Akşehir, as the enemy is positioned east of the Afyon-Eskişehir line. From August 24, 1922, until he moved to the front for the Great Offensive, he worked in this building. That is, for a period of nine months, the preparations for the Great Offensive are carried out here. By the way: Atatürk comes many times to inspect the work and direct the preparations. Building: Built in 1904-1905, during the time of Mayor Bostan Bey, as the Town Hall. In 1965, when the City Hall moved to another building, it was donated to the Ministry as a museum. After a major renovation, it was opened to the public as the Atatürk and Ethnography Museum on July 5, 1966. After the repair and arrangement made in 1981, it receives its current name due to its main function. The two-story building is made of brick with a stone foundation. On the ground floor of the building, in the eastern and southern parts, there are panels depicting the preparations for the Great Offensive and the Great Offensive. This floor is the administrative section. On the upper floor: the large room in the southern corner, which can be preserved with its original material from the time of the headquarters to the present day, is the room where Atatürk's work and the Great Offensive were taken. The rooms on either side of this room are the study rooms of the Headquarters Commander Ismet Inönü and the Chief of Staff Asım Gündüz. The wax statue of Ismet Pasha is placed on the study table. The windows inside the room in the north corner display items and weapons that were given to the Great Leader and used by him.
