At the foot of the castle, this Byzantine reservoir is 46 m long, 23 m wide and 14 m deep, and is descended by a helical staircase in the eastern corner. All the walls of the Tekirambarı water reservoir, which is rarely seen in the architecture of the Anatolian reservoir, are supported by smoothly cut stones to prevent water leakage and also to give a monumental feature, with 8 round arched niches on the long side and 5 on the short side.

Maalesef Mersindeki bircok tarihi yer berbat halde. Burası da öyle.
