Mersin Gallery of Fine Arts
One of the first examples of civil architecture of the Republican period, the building, built of cut stone, with a deep-rooted history, is remarkable for its technical outcomes in the garden.
The building, which was used as a hotel and public house for many years, was restored by the Ministry of Culture between 1997 and 2001 and began to serve as the Mersin State Museum and Gallery of Painting and Sculpture.
Located on the eastern facade of the Mersin Cultural Center building, the Mersin Fine Arts Gallery, which has become the cultural and artistic center of Mersin province, hosts many artists, cultural and artistic events.
