Anamur Cape, the southernmost point on the Mediterranean, is 7 km from the county. It is located in the ancient city of Ören in the west. This cape is formed by the steep extension of the Kargagedik mountain into the sea. Here, on this nose, there's a double white flashlight that burns for ten seconds, made by the French in 1911. The lighthouse is 68 meters above the sea and 10 meters above the ground. The lighthouse and the guardhouse are protected by the Directorate General of Coast Guard as a national heritage.
